♡ thanks for being here ♡

Hi there! I’m Brittany, and I’m thrilled to have you here. Step by Step is very dear to me, and I appreciate everyone who is joining me on this adventure. My journey into therapy ignited in middle school, which inspired me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology from East Stroudsburg University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Holy Family University. During my studies, I gained essential experience at a local behavioral hospital, enhancing my understanding of mental health, empathy, and the need to combat stigma. My graduate internship took place at a residential treatment center, and I was lucky to work as a graduate assistant for the Collegiate Recovery Program at Holy Family University.

Currently, I practice as a therapist in private practice and work as a counselor at a brain-based trauma informed school. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my puppy, listening to Taylor Swift (which may have inspired the names of the socks) while cherishing moments with friends and family. I’m eager to see where this journey takes us and appreciate your support in this mission.

STEP BY STEP

Our Story

Despite the countless positive aspects of mental health and substance use facilities, I noticed that the socks provided were often ill-fitting, insufficient in quantity, uncomfortable, and unattractive, with donation closets falling short when it came to this essential item. Driven by passion for helping others, particularly in mental health and addiction, I established Step by Step to bridge the gaps I noticed in conventional treatment environments.

Thank You!

As we continue to grow and expand our efforts, I am excited to see the impact we can make in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health and substance use challenges. Your support makes all of this possible, and I am truly grateful for each and every one of you who has contributed to this cause. Thank you for being a part of Step by Step and helping to create a brighter future for those in need.
